to Columcille
Your membership donation to our annual operating budget is a tax-deductible charitable contribution for that year. The same is true for any other "friendship" gift that you choose to make to Columcille Inc. Every gift made to Columcille will be acknowledged in writing with our sincere appreciation.
Matching gifts made by your employer can double or triple your personal contribution. If you or your spouse's workplace offers such a program, please enclose a "matching gift form" with your gift.
As you consider a gift to Columcille we encourage you to think about donating to the Borderland Fund, created in 2007 specifically to prepare for opportunities to acquire adjacent "buffer" property and buildings to enhance or protect Columcille Megalith Park.
What is the Borderland Fund?
Membership and FriendsColumcille is a sacred space that welcomes thousands of pilgrims each year. Many may pass this way but once while others return frequently. But for some, the stones, the land, the observances and the people they meet spark a sense of commitment to our mission. Membership is a way of expressing that commitment.
Columcille receives new members throughout the year. They are officially welcomed at our Annual Membership Meeting held on the Saturday closest to the Feast of St. Columba, June 9. At this meeting the members elect the Board of Directors that manages and budgets the resources of Columcille Inc. As part of its responsibilities the board sets the donation level for membership at $100.00 per member which can be donated in full or in quarterly installments. Columcille now offers a way to become a member or friend online. |
